Plas Yn Rhiw
Plas yn Rhiw, Rhiw, Near Aberdaron, Pwllheli
Set on the timeless Lleyn Peninsula, this charming 16th Century manor house with Georgian additions was rescued from neglect by three sisters in 1938. There are delightful gardens to see, a woodland walk with bluebells in season, and a picnic area. The views across Cardigan Bay are spectacular.

Segontium
Segontium, Caernarfon
The remains of a Roman Fort near Caernarfon — a World Heritage Site — built to defend against rebellious tribes and later plundered to provide stone for Edward I's castle at Caernarfon. There is a museum with relics found on site.
