The Kymin, Monmouth
A landmark hill with two historic Georgian buildings — a small circular banqueting house and a naval temple dedicated to the British Navy. Nelson visited the site in 1802. Set in 9 acres of woods and amenity grounds, with spectacular views.

Skenfrith Castle
Skenfrith Castle, near Abergavenny
The remains of an early 13th Century castle standing by the River Monnow, built to command one of the main routes between England and Wales. The keep and curtain wall with towers have survived.
